There's been no blogging for a time while I've been working on new products and we've been catching up with the Christmas stock orders for our wholesale customers. But at last here it is!
There are quite a few new items due to appear in the next couple of weeks, including skinny snake scarves, table mats and coasters, new cards, brooches and some tea towels which have just arrived on the site. I will post updates by Facebook and Twitter (find the links to these on the right hand menu of this page)

Starting on the 7th-8th May and for the following three weekends The Black Rabbit will be at Brighton Open House.
Again this will be at 20 Quebec Street, Hanover, Brighton, BN2 9UZ. The house opens Saturday and Sunday 11am-6pm and is on the Hanover Art Trail (HA8).
Although the house looks tiny from the front it's much more spacious inside and has some amazing artists and designers and some especially amazing cakes. There is a beautiful sculpture garden in which to enjoy them too!
The Black Rabbit will have lots of lovely things for sale from the current collection and a few old season bargains as well. Hope to see you there.

Just a little update to tell you about the plans for the next few weeks.
There are some smashing new products in the pipeline, a sneak preview here of the mini blanket (in a super soft and machine washable lambswool), matching 'Little Lapin' and writing paper sets.
I'm still wading through all the orders we took in New York for shops over there, and already really looking forward to the Brighton Open House in May. The Black Rabbit will be at 20 Quebec Street again so do pop by if you are on the trail.
For wholesale customers, I know it's a long way off, but lots of exciting things are in progress for Top Drawer Autumn in mid September.

I don't normally do charity requests with The Black Rabbit, but this one as you will read is very special.

Nigel and Paula Bongers are running the Rome Marathon on March 20th 2011, with sponsorship received in aid of Helen House Hospice, Oxford.

They lost their wonderful daughter Ellie Bongers just over a year ago, in a car crash and her son Joseph a few months later as a result of the same accident. He was lovingly cared for at Helen House for that time.

Ellie was my oldest and closest friend since childhood and I miss her more than I can say here. I'd like as many people as possible to support Paula and Nigel in this amazing venture.
